The Quattro is more than just an inverter and charger. It can handle two AC inputs and switch between them automatically. It also has a pure sine wave inverter, smart charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology and various system integration options such as three or split phase operation and parallel operation. It’s similar to the MultiPlus, but with extra features.
The Quattro lets you connect to two different AC sources at the same time, like shore power and a generator, or two generators. It will switch to the source that is working. The main output never breaks. If the grid goes down, or the shore or generator power stops, the Quattro keeps the power going to the devices that are connected. It does this so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronics won’t notice any interruption. The second output only works when there is AC power on one of the Quattro’s inputs. You can connect devices that you don’t want to run on battery power, like air-conditioning or a water heater, to this output.
The Quattro will prevent overload of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power connection. First, battery charging will automatically be reduced when otherwise an overload would occur. The second level will boost the output of a generator or shore side supply with power taken from the battery

Once I got the plan set, it was easy to install... it was amazing how quick it went once everything was all set up. I knew what to expect, I knew what the inspector would be looking for... you guys were there to back me up, so it was the smartest option for me.

You guys are my guys when it comes to solar. When I got stuck, making a phone call or appointment was one of the huge keys to how well this worked. The confidence and encouragement... it validated that I could do it.

As a DIYer, it's all plug and play, so it's incredibly straightforward... you have certified engineers doing your designs, therefore they're gonna be safe electrically and structurally. That to me is a big peace of mind when I did this.
